Iran and Turkey have entered a new stage of cooperation in game industry.

According to Mehrdad Ashtiani, Project Director of TGC (Tehran Game Convention), official agreement between TGC convention Iran and GIST exhibition Turkey has been signed.

The TGC is the first international exhibition of commercial (B2B) gaming and The GIST (Gaming Istanbul) is an international game exhibit which is being held at 2-5 Feb 2017 in Istanbul Congress Center. Turkey is a center of attention of the game markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia in view of its young population and geographical advantage.

"In a meeting with managers of GIST at Gamescom in Germany, mutual cooperation between the two GIST and TGC events was introduced and after negotiations and numerous follow-up in recent weeks, the agreement was signed." Ashtiani said. “GIST exhibition was held in Istanbul for the first time last year, with a public sector in addition to business appointments” he added.
