The first international agreement between Iran Computer and Video Game Foundation (IRCG) and the French company, Connection Events, has been assigned in order to hold Tehran Game Convention, TGC.
This service agreement was assigned by Hassan Karimi Ghodoosi, the CEO of IRCG, and Mr. Pierre Carde, the CEO of Connection Events, during a media seating, in 18th of September 2016.
TGC is the first international B2B event in Iran with the purpose of connecting the Iranian and international game development communities.
“One of the most important ideas of this event is bridging the gap between the international game developers, publishers and service providers with the vast and untouched market of Iran”, said Hassan Karimi Ghodoosi. “Introducing investment opportunities and creating a background for Iranian game developers and service providers to introduce their games and services to the international business are our other goals”, he added.
Mr. Pierre Carde, who travelled to Iran for signing this agreement, also stated in this seating that Iran, according to its good international interaction and opening up economic space, has the potential to be the heart of the gaming industry in the Middle East. “This is our first partnership in the Middle East and we are committed to invite a lot of international speakers as well as investors and product buyers to be present at the TGC exhibition”, he explained about the clauses of the agreement.
