The Iranian Culture Ministry has given the green light to the Iranian Video Games Foundation to exempt game developers from paying taxes.

According to the public relations department of the Iranian Video Games Foundation, Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Dr. Ali Jannati has authorized the tax-free operation of video games developers, designers, and distributors in a bid to help contribute to the Iranian video games industry.
