As Iran’s most active game development training center, the Iranian Game Development Incubator has hosted the ‘Global Game Jam 2016’. The event, which took place on January 29 to February 1, saw contestants compete individually and in team of maximum four members, using facilities of the center for developing video games, Public Relations Department of the Iranian Computer and Video Games Foundation reported. The contestants had 48 hours to develop their games, without being limited to any specific software, hardware, or graphics engines. The winners took home a cash prize of ten million IR Rials
