Video game enthusiasts around the world can purchase the new Iranian computer game “Shaban” online.

The game is available on the website of Big Fish Games, a U.S. provider of Internet media delivery software and game services.

“Shaban”, which was unveiled at Dubai World Game Expo last year, has been produced by the Iranian company PETA Game.

The game is available in German, French, Spanish, Danish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Swedish on the website.

Iran’s National Foundation for Computer Games will distribute the Persian version of the game in Iran in the near future.

Seyyed Hossein Masbuq, Fatemeh Kashfi and Ali Lotfalikhani are members of a team directed by “Shaban” Ebrahim Masjedian that made the game.

The game is about Shaban, a shepherd living happily alongside his sheep and goats. One rainy night, thieves invaded his property and stole all his sheep. Shaban sets off on an adventure as he seeks to find his lost sheep.

The story is told in a comic strip style and the gamer is encouraged to solve a variety of logical and environmental puzzles to help Shaban rescue his sheep in time.

Founded in 2002, the Seattle-based casual games publisher boasts more than 2500 games in its online catalogue. It relies primarily on a subscription-based business model. Players can download and access Big Fish’s games by paying monthly fees.
